Dear Friends,
We are happy to share our ranch and facilities with you. We hope you will enjoy yourselves and have some memorable experiences while here. However, there are a few things we need to ask you to do, as well as we need to make you aware of certain restrictions, requirements, and rules. We are enclosing an itemized list for your review and ask that you make sure everyone in your group understands and obeys the rules set forth.
This year we are charging $250.00 per day use fee, plus an additional $8.00 a day per person (3 & up). We are also asking for a $200.00 deposit to hold your calendared spot, to be sent to us at least 60 days before your stay. This amount will be credited to you toward your total owed at the end of your stay. If you cancel your reservation later than 30 days prior to your calendered spot this deposit will not be reimbursed to you. All facilities associated with the reunion/rec. center are part of these fees. Collection of fees due is done strictly on the honor system. We will not come and count heads, and you will not be billed. Payment is due & expected before leaving the ranch unless other arrangements have been made prior to your stay.
This year we are requiring a $200.00 cleaning deposit. You will once receive it back via Venmo, if upon inspection it is clean. We are still offering a cleaning service for $225.00, but if you choose to have us clean we would need to know upon arrival, and you are required to put up chairs and tables and pick up your garbage and put it in the required dumpster. If you choose to clean it yourself with you group you will have a checklist of how we need it cleaned and will inspect it afterwards to make sure that everything was done. We will then return all or some of your money if we feel that it was clean. Please clean the facility as good or better than you found it if you choose to clean it yourself.
We ask that you treat this facility with the same care you would if it were your own, and that you report any problems that you might experience, such as any needed repairs etc.
There are three families residing on our property. Please be considerate of everyone in regards to noise and activities. We also ask that you keep all activities on the ranch property or to the eastern side, which is USFS land. Our neighbors, whose property adjoins ours to the west, are people who desire their peace, quiet, and privacy. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are you to trespass on their property. We ask that you mainly stay on the forest service roads outside the ranch when riding 4-wheelers. All motorized vehicles on ranch premises must stay on main roads. We would ask that you not ride 4-wheelers etc. after dark & keep your activities inside the big building after 8:00 p.m. so the noise won't disturb the neighbors & we don’t get complaints. You will also need to abide by any fire restrictions set by the USFS, as we are surrounded by national forest.
On this blog you can find the picture of the map to the ranch, a list of items to be found in the kitchen & on the premises, a list of our rules, a release of liability form, and various pictures of the ranch. The loft has ten sets of bunk beds, plus some twin beds & is carpeted with extra room for cots or sleeping bags. There are four small cabins on the property located south of the big building. Each cabin is carpeted, has a ceiling light/fan, and has a bunk bed with a double bed on bottom & twin on top. Two of them have another set of twin bunk beds in them. Two have room for portable crib or sleeping bags. We have added another restroom facility near the cabins with two bathtub/shower rooms and two toilet/sink rooms. There is ample room for setting up tents, but we ask that you not set them up on the lawn as we need to keep it watered. We also have outside outlets that can be used for self-contained trailers, but no septic dumping system. There is also a covered, lighted pavilion off the kitchen area.
We have a large pond where you can do catch & release fishing. We ask you to use non-barbed hooks if possible. We ask that you use extreme caution with your children concerning this pond. Liability is yours if you use it. You swim at your own risk & no swimming after dark! Please make sure you sign the release of liability form hanging on the cabinet in the kitchen and sign & return it to the house at the back of the property (blue house with yellow door) We must have these forms before you use our facility!
